Eminem has released the music video for his song “Somebody Save Me” featuring Jelly Roll.
The song is taken from his twelfth studio album Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce). The lyrics are written from the perspective of a parallel scene in which Eminem dies before his daughter Harry graduates, and describe his relationship with his family before his drug addiction.
In the film, the song opens with a tape of his child Alaina pleading with him for dinner. The song’s three verses are directed at his three children, Alaina, Halle and Stevie, as he raps about how his drug addiction disrupted their family life.
