Eminem belts out Megan Thee Stallion in ‘Houdini’
Eminem returns with his new song “Houdini” on Friday (May 31). As fans got into the song, they noticed that Em mentioned Megan Thee Stallion in the first verse of the song and appeared to reference her foot being shot by Tory Lanez.
“If I asked Megan Thee Stallion if she would collaborate with me/Do I really have a chance to pull off a feat?” they spat.
The song upset Megan Thee Stallion’s many supporters, who took to social media to call out Em for seemingly making light of the Houston hottie’s 2020 shooting.
“Then why did that asshole shade Meg?” one supporter wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
Another added: “This is so disrespectful.”
“Houdini” officially kicks off the launch of Em’s 12th studio album. Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce). The lead single is named after famous escape artist Harry Houdini and samples the Steve Miller Band’s 1982 song “Abracadabra.”
