If you listen to the music video for “Toby,” you may notice that a White Castle restaurant appears randomly for some reason. Well, it turns out this is a bit of an Easter egg. According to Billboard , Eminem has teamed up with White Castle to launch two spare items on his website, shop.eminem.com. The two pieces include a white T-shirt and a black and white trucker hat. For the latter, it includes the logo of the long-established burger slider chain, but the name is replaced with “White Rapper.” Then, in addition to “ESTABLISHED IN 1972”, there is the same pattern on the shirt. Below it reads: “Purchase via ‘Sack’.
“1972” is Eminem’s birth year, which replaces the founding date of White Castle (1921). Both are produced in limited quantities and each item will ship at a different time. The hats will ship on August 16th and the shirts will ship two weeks later on August 30th. Sizes start in Small and go up to Double XL.
Eminem is embracing the ‘white rapper’ label
Speaking of giving up, Eminem will release his next studio album, The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce), on Friday, July 12th. BabyTron, the rest of the tracklist is still up in the air. It’s apparently making its way to Apple Music, and additional guests have even been revealed. However, the song and artist names have been removed. However, we can say that we have the art, and it is very clever and eye-catching at the same time. His Slim Shady looked terrified as he was zipped up into his body bag. He may be annihilating alter egos, but Em adopts the title of “white rapper” on this merchandise team.
