Eddie Murphy, who sat down to admit his stadium anxiety and viral meme paranoia at a recent time, revealed that despite enjoying front seats at the Los Angeles Lakers Games, he has been worried about becoming internet feed.
“My biggest fear is sitting there and one of them went to dive into some balls and knocked me out and turned into some memes,” Eddie Murphy said. “You might be on TV, and on the news, and Shaq (Uille O’Neal) is stepping on your face.”
The Beverly Hills police legend, known for keeping a low profile job, said he wasn’t worried about being hit by the ball because it had happened.
What shocked him the most was the huge size of the player and the possibility of a 7-foot Gunner.
He said: “Until you sit on the floor, they don’t realize how big these guys are.
Despite being a Hollywood idol, Murphy said he doesn’t often mix in celebrity circles. He recalls meeting LeBron James outside a nightclub in the mid-2000s during his divorce from Nicole Mitchell in the mid-2000s, but says such an encounter is rare.
“I’ve never met Michael Jordan before. I’ve never met a lot of people. I met a lot of people early on. When I first started my business, I met people. But I don’t do a lot of acting business things,” Murphy said.
