In one filing, he accuses them of using bots, payola and other methods to inflate the success of “Not Like Us,” and the next, he’s accusing them of defamation.
Jamal kicked off the discussion with the question, “Where is hip-hop going?” He continued: “It’s all kinds of rap beef, assholes getting shot and some shit. No one’s asking for anything. It’s crazy because he’s been called some names.” Jamal Then he blasted Drake for being hypocritical when he complained about UMG allegedly giving Lamar preferential treatment.

As for Drake’s first petition against the music industry giant, his attorneys wrote in the New York filing: “UMG did not rely on chance or even ordinary business practice.
