Drake is out again for podcasts, interviews and guest appearances, and this time, his presence in a new documentary reveals his thoughts about other artists. In the new documentary, Magic City: American Fantasy, Drake reveals his first impression of the future of the rapper.
Drake talks about how he first heard the future—in the “Toronto’s Ass Recording Studio” that “this guy is tall, like **k.” He admits that it seems “they are from another planet”, which is certainly a sublime way to describe how the future can change the voice of Atlanta forever.
The scene then transitions to a heightened conversation about the future, and criticism of the repetitive phrases that are signature sounds.
