Drake insists his public support of Young Thug in the long-running RICO trial wasn’t just for clout.

Drake has been outspoken in supporting Young Thug in his ongoing YSL RICO case.

Thugger has been in jail since May 2022, part of a 56-count RICO indictment brought against his YSL brand, which prosecutors say is a criminal street gang.
The rapper has been denied bail multiple times and faces multiple racketeering, drug and weapons-related charges.
His legal team has repeatedly called for a mistrial in the contentious lawsuit, which has seen the judge replaced, prosecutors harshly criticized in court and one of the state’s key witnesses admitting to lying and then firing his attorney during the trial. .
