Drake made history on Spotify, becoming the first artist to reach 100 billion streams on the platform. After a well-publicized feud with Kendrick Lamar that resulted in him dropping several popular diss songs, his monthly listener count reached 78,140,542. These include “Family Matters”, “The Heart Part 6” and more. In addition, he recently collaborated with Sexyy Red on the single “U My Everything.”
When Kurko shared the news on X (formerly Twitter), many of his fans brought up the feud with Lamar. One user wrote: “Lmao [laughing emoji] Man disses Spotify now giving artists what they deserve, but still can’t stop him from getting billy [fire emojis] Haters will hate. Another added: “Drake gave Kanye and Kendrick careers, Metro and Future, he transcended the rap game and won’t change until he retires, even with these worst voices Also better than some of your favorite rappers, he’s just the GOAT and I don’t even need to defend myself anymore.

As for the feud with Lamar, it started earlier this year when the Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers rapper took issue with Drake on Future and Metro Boomin’s “Like That.” Over the next few weeks, the two each released multiple diss songs directed at each other. “Family Matters” alone brought Drake 75 million views. Lamar created a buzz with the back-to-back releases of “Meet The Grahams” and “Not Like Us.”
