Kendrick Lamar uses ASL performers in Super Bowl
There are still people talking about Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl Lix halftime show (February 9). Not only did Kendrick perform memorable performances, but surprisingly, he performed his controversial Drake Diss song “Not Like Us.” K-point is not unique. The Compton, California rapper hired Matt Maxey, the deaf dumb, who also hired a gas group, and also played the song in American Sign Language.
In the video you can see below, Maxey enthusiastically signs the words of the Diss song on a chart that is synchronized with K-Dot’s performance. This is not the first time Maxey has participated in an ASL live hip-hop show. His work explains the lyrics compliments in a show with 2 Chainz, Chance The Rapper, Jadakiss and others.

Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl Halftime Performance Record
Kendrick Lamar’s Easter Egg Super Bowl suit is getting mixed reviews. It is clear that the wholehearted eye is on K-Dot as he becomes the history of the first solo singer to perform halftime in a big competition. According to Roc Nation, the performance was watched by 133.5 million people, and he is a live music strategist in the NFL. This makes it the most watched Apple Music Super Bowl halftime show of all time.
