Drake gave up a surprise video message during the closing ceremony of the university on Sunday (May 26) at Kai Cenat of Akron, praising the Twitch star’s influence on digital media and calling streaming a “ideal career.”
The superstar rapper appeared on the big screen on the final day of the weekend’s boot camp, asking Cenat and the program’s participants in heartfelt respect.
“Being able to organize this incredible academic event and bring everyone together in one place is something that has never been done,” Drake said. “It’s an extraordinary feat and I hope everyone shows you the greatest love you might have for the Dean, the only Kai Cenat.”
Cenat teases a mysterious guest, telling the crowd that Drake has been watching “the whole time” before revealing pre-recorded information.
Drake continues to praise, calling streaming a legitimate career path.
“I feel streaming is an ideal career,” he added. “This is the next shift in the media that I believe is the individuals who participate in the program and watch this video.”

Surprise capped the Streaming University, a creator-centric boot camp founded by Cenat and held from May 24-26. The event brings together aspiring streaming media to conduct hands-on workshops in content creation, monetization and audience building.
There were appearances of top internet figures over the weekend, including Duke Dennis, DDG, Imdontai, Cookewithkya and other Cenat’s AMP (any means possible) crew.

Earlier this month, Cenat also revealed a music video he was doing for “Someone Loves Me”, a joint project between Drake and Partynextdoor $OME $exy $exy $ongs 4 U.
During a live broadcast on Saturday (May 17), Senate announced a contest aimed at submitting the song’s 30 to 60 seconds of video processing for emerging directors.
“You guys can play a role, too,” Senate said. “We are choosing someone who loves me. Everyone who loves mentoring, everyone who likes to come up with therapy, and s ###. 30 seconds to a minute of thoughts to understand everything you have.”
The first 20 submissions will receive $15,000 in each edit.
