During Drake’s DRIZZMAS livestream, co-host Adin Ross mentioned that he was disappointed with the delay of Drizzy and PartyNextDoor’s highly anticipated album, which the streamer claimed was supposed to be released weeks ago. “I was waiting for you and PND to drop that album,” Adin Ross told Drake when asked what he was listening to. “You said you were gonna drop it three weeks ago. You lied to me.”
The timeline commented by Ross indicates that the highly anticipated joint album was originally scheduled to be released on November 22nd, the same day Kendrick Lamar released GNX. Ross’ revelation coincided with popular YouTube blogger Poetik Flakko confirming that 6 God and PND’s album was originally scheduled to be released on the same day as GNX. “Drake was on Ardin Rose’s livestream last night,” Flacco began. “Drake revealed something that I already knew, but I didn’t want to put my name on it because no one else would back me up. But I already knew that. Drake kind of accidentally dropped something. …..Well, Adin Rose cornered him.
Flakko claims Adin Ross hinted that Drake and PND’s album might be dropped on the day of GNX’s live broadcast at DRIZZMAS
Flacco’s machinations continue: “Adin Ross accidentally revealed something we all already knew. Drake was actually supposed to drop that party album, not three weeks ago, but four weeks ago. Well, Today is the 27th, so what day is it?
Flakko cracked his plot with the launch of Drizzy and PartyNextDoor. “Drake is working with the label to try to figure out how they’re going to put out this party album that they got,” he said. [Drake] I want to sunset on November 22nd. However, they clearly have some issues to work out. So when Drake told people like Adin Ross, ‘Yo, listen, man, we’re dropping on November 22nd. He’s still trying to figure things out. Behind the scenes, the label is feeding Kendrick Lamar things like, “Yes, Drake is dropping on November 22nd.” You see, Kendrick Lamar feels like he has the culture right now. So he can basically outsell Drizy, or at least UMG will make sure he outsells Drake.
