This week, Young Thug found himself in hot water after a jailhouse video call leaked that he had been cheating on his girlfriend, singer Mariah Scientist. There were at least 10 other women. The streets were bustling, and the city boy was in a bad mood—really bad. Thugger has been promoting his cause, but now he’s in trouble. Despite the scandal, scientist Maria has proven herself to be the definition of “ride or die.” Even for the strongest knights, the addition of ten more women is a bitter pill to swallow. Luckily for Young Thug, being locked up might save him.
For now, Maria seems to be holding things back. She seemed to be on her man’s side, despite the embarrassment she had to feel. Young Thug continues to put their business out on the streets for the world to see. Is this her message: She’s angry, but not quite over him yet? Maybe.
Remember, this is the Maria who supported Young Thug when he faced a life sentence. Her loyalty speaks for itself. Now that he’s free, it’s clear she’s a keeper. There is no way to recover from this mess without some serious rectification. Sources say he has cut ties with other women.
Interestingly, a few years ago we were scheduled to interview scientist Maria, but her team canceled at the last minute. Maybe it wasn’t meant to be. Now our chances of sitting down and chatting with her look slim.
Still, the question remains: Can Malia really leave Young Thug? This is a stretch. Still, I think they need each other now.
