While hip-hop is now in a revival, Doechii is one of the rappers, pushing it back to its due position on the top. Florida native found a place where she embraced her genre growth from the very beginning. The past few months have been the achievement and opportunity for Rap Stars.

The 26-year-old self-proclaimed Swamp Princess continues to get all the good looks with the 2025 Billboard Woman of the Year honors.
Billboard announced her prestigious recognition on Monday (March 10), ahead of her annual Women’s Music Competition, Doechii will receive honors on March 29 at the YouTube Theatre in Hollywood Park, Inglewood, California. Since then, her performance has been incredibly proven. But this is nothing new.
Doechii’s creativity, engaging charm and charming artistry were witnessed on YouTube 10 years ago. Her first post on the platform featured her singing the cover of the Disney movie “Frozen” “Do you want to build a snowman?” From there, she looked inside her life: good, bad and ugly. As part of the annual freshman course, XXL put her on the cover of a magazine in 2022, and even then, some hip-hop is still late for her party. Being late is better than not. Elite MC has become “IT” girls for all the right reasons. Doechii was respected in the focus of her well-deserved attention in the year before becoming a freshman in XXL in 2025, a sign of her well-deserved time. The task is completed.
