DJ Vlad is currently trending on social media for threatening to fire a Princeton professor for comments she made on X (Twitter).

The interviewer and businessman, whose real name is Vladimir Lyubovny, criticized a black Ivy League professor’s take on the feud between Kendrick and Drake, and made veiled threats to her.

It all started on Saturday (May 4) after Kendrick responded to Drake in a row amid their ongoing complaints. Flood took to social media to say Kendrick’s “Not Like Us” needed a better remix. “It takes away from the song,” he said.

New York Times best-selling author and Princeton University faculty member Morgan Jenkins responded by calling the feud between Kendrick and Drake a “black civil matter.”

“Wait, a professor at @Princeton told me that white people shouldn’t be allowed to express their opinions on hip-hop? Is this how you deal with students?” he said. Jenkins clarifies that in conversations targeting black voices , his opinion is unnecessary.

Flood then appeared to threaten Jenkins, suggesting he would try to get her fired from Princeton.

Flood mentioned the idea of including the incident in her “permanent record,” whatever that means.

Social media has since erupted with comments, with many condemning Flood’s actions for crossing a line.

Comedian Kevin Fredericks (aka KevOnStage) has also said, “Vlad was insane for a number of reasons, but you can tell in this movie that he saw a A black woman and a predominantly white university and trying to use her whiteness against her is disgusting.

Likewise, activist Phil Moreland said, “Take your power back, unsubscribe, unfollow and disengage from #VLADTV @adam22 and all the other POSERS who don’t belong in the culture!!!!” We all summer Hunting bald eagles!

Can I keep 100 with you?

Vlad is our fault.

All these culture vultures are our fault.

Without the co-signature of Black industrial and cultural actors, these men will accomplish nothing and have no vision except to line their own pockets.

It’s not lost on me that there are so many people with great connections…

I witnessed DJ VLAD being attacked en masse by Black Twitter for his overuse of culture vulture practices. It’s this boldness that gets them eaten every time. pic.twitter.com/JCZK0m0jcN

When you get Vlad out of here, take out other culture vultures too: pic.twitter.com/CNzsz3jKHp

If you’re black and you’re defending DJ Vlad, you’re trash.

— Keith Howard (@Yamscasino) May 5, 2024

You said DJ Vlad has a “typical victim mentality”?

Imagine trying to find a black female professor from there
Princeton was fired for what you believed was racism against you and used thinly veiled racist terminology in response.

Culture vultures must leave ASAP https://t.co/9QPQjMQQK5
