Diddy was denied bail today and must wait for sentencing after being convicted of prostitution-related charges earlier that day.
Didi denies bail
He was immediately convicted of two counts of prostitution after he was convicted of major charges of sexual trafficking and extortion conspiracy, and Didi’s attorney Marc Agnifilo urged Bond (Marc Agnifilo). Didi was convicted of flying men and women across the country, including his ex-girlfriend Cassie and anonymous witness and male sex worker named Jane, engaged in sexual intercourse, a felony against the Federal Mann Act, according to the Associated Press. The government opposes the bond motion. After hearing both sides, Judge Aron Subanyanya decided to deny the bail late this afternoon.
“I have read the submissions of all parties and others,” Judge Subramanian said at a bond hearing today, according to the Inner City Press. “The jury ruled the defendants Nos. 3 and 5. Bail was denied for the following reasons.”
The judge cited Puff’s history of violence, and ignoring the law’s reasons left him locked in. The judge continued: “Even if the defendant was only asked to prove that he was not dangerous to the community, he could not bear this burden.”
“The violence occurred after the search in this case,” he added. “As for Jane, in June 2024 – after searching the comb’s residence. This proves the disregard for the law and the tendency to violence.”

How much time does Didi face?
The two counts of transport were for the purpose of prostitution and were sentenced to up to 20 years in prison. However, according to the sentencing guidelines established by the prosecution, the range is at least 51 to 63 months (four to five years). Didi’s legal team is arguing that 21 months (more than a year, but less than two) should be the minimum.
He has been locked in the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn for the past nine months after being arrested last September. President Trump’s pardon may not exceed the possibility, either.
When did Didi was sentenced?
Diddy’s sentencing date is scheduled for October 3.
