Didi’s The legal team is fighting tooth and nail to get the bad boy record mogul out of jail. Diddy was arrested at a Manhattan hotel on Monday night (September 16) on multiple RICO charges, including conspiracy to commit racketeering, trafficking of children by force, fraud or coercion, and transportation for prostitution.

In a court document obtained by AllHipHop, Diddy’s attorneys proposed a $50 million bond for equity in Didi’s home at 2 West Star Island in Miami, Didi’s mother’s equity in Miami, Didi’s Passports, those of family members and his private jet as collateral. They also recommended that he be placed under house arrest and subject to GPS monitoring.

,

Diddy was indicted on Thursday (September 12). The indictment reads in part: “For decades, Sean Combs … abused, threatened and coerced the women and others around him in order to satisfy his sexual desires, protect his reputation and conceal his conduct. To this end, , Combs relied on the employees, resources and influence of his multifaceted business empire. During raids on his homes in Miami and Los Angeles, authorities seized guns and ammunition, including three with defaced serial numbers. AR-15, and a drum magazine.

The indictment also makes multiple references to physical abuse, saying Diddy “engaged in a persistent and pervasive pattern of abuse against women and others. The abuse was at times verbal, emotional, physical and sexual.”

Diddy’s bad boy empire began to unravel in November 2023, when his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura filed an explosive lawsuit accusing him of sexual and physical abuse. Although they quickly settled out of court, an investigation into Diddy’s lifestyle ensued and a federal investigation was launched.

In March, federal agents executed search warrants at his properties in Los Angeles and Miami, and investigators interviewed several people on charges of sex trafficking, sexual assault, and soliciting and distributing illegal narcotics and firearms.

Diddy’s attorney, Marc Agnifilo, addressed the arrest in a statement to AllHipHop.

“We are disappointed with the U.S. Attorney’s Office’s decision to unfairly prosecute Mr. Combs,” Agnifilo said. “Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is a music icon, self-made entrepreneur, family man and proven philanthropist who has spent the past 30 years building a Empire, loved his children, and worked to uplift the black community. He was an imperfect man, but he was not a criminal.

“To his credit, Mr. Combs has been cooperating with this investigation and voluntarily moved to New York last week in anticipation of facing these charges. Please reserve your judgment until all the facts are known. These are an innocent man He has nothing to hide, and he looks forward to clearing his name in court.
