Sean Combs’ children have spoken out in support of their father, accusing “conspiracy theories and false narratives” surrounding the jailed tycoon.
The Combs brothers took to social media on Tuesday morning (October 22) to express their anguish in the weeks following Diddy’s arrest.
“This past month has devastated our family,” they began. “Many are judging him and us based on accusations, conspiracy theories and false narratives that have become ridiculous on social media.”
However, the Combs children are “united” in supporting Dee Dee and believe the truth will prevail.
“We are united and supporting you every step of the way,” the post continued. “We stand for truth, knowing it will prevail, and nothing can diminish the strength of our family.”
Their conclusion: “Dad, we miss you and love you.”
The statements came from six of Diddy’s seven children, who all supported their father during his latest court appearance. Quincy Brown, 33, Justin Combs, 30, Christian Combs, 26, Chance Combs, 18, and 17 2-year-old twins Jessie Combs and D’Lila Combs walked into the courtroom with their grandmother, Janice Combs.
Diddy seeks gag order
The Combs siblings’ statement comes as Diddy’s legal team is seeking a gag order to prevent attorneys for his alleged victim from talking about his criminal case.
“As the court knows, Mr. Combs has been the target of endless accusations in the media by potential witnesses and their attorneys,” his attorneys argued. “These potential witnesses and their attorneys made numerous inflammatory extrajudicial statements designed to assassinate Mr. Coombs’ character in the media. The witnesses’ attorneys also provided assurances about their client’s credibility and character and expressed concern about his client’s credibility and character. Potential evidence was expressed.
The Bad Boy Records founder denies the accusations. He awaits trial on charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and transportation for prostitution.
