Diddy testified to his former personal assistant Friday (June 13) that he often prepares for the hotel room for Diddy’s private encounters with sexually promoting honey, red light and oil, as part of the ongoing federal sex trafficking and rainfall trial in Manhattan.
Jonathan Perez, who worked at Diddy from the end of 2021 to 2024, testified that he was responsible for building rooms for these nights that often involved men and women and often ended in the form of a staff member.
He described the consequences as “chaotic”, towels, sheets and oil that need to be collected.
Perez, who testified under the immunization order after citing the Fifth Amendment, said he also made purchases at adult stores and Red Lights from Target and Amazon.
He confirmed that honey is always part of the setting because it is believed to enhance male sexual behavior. After a previous interview with the same position, Diddy’s chief of staff Kristina Khorram recruited him as an assistant position.
He said he learned “King’s Night” early and was instructed to prepare hotel rooms for Diddy and female guests, including those called “Jane” in court.
He describes a typical evening setting: red lights, fruits, milkshakes, honey, and sometimes discussed with Jane. In a text exchange shown in court, Perez told Hallland that he was going to an adult shop after he had to sort out the room.
Perez later confirmed that staff, including himself, were responsible for cleaning the room after the encounter. He also testified that he received “a few times” from Diddy’s drugs like Xanax, cocaine and Molly, from a man known as “g ####” and “babygirl.”
During cross-examination, defense attorney Brian Steel asked Jane if she looked uncomfortable or forced. Perez replied that she never seemed reluctant and even asked him to give fashion advice to impress Didi.
He also agreed that these “King Nights” happened during Diddy’s personal period, not part of his business operations.
Perez said he had seen videos of Jenny having sex with a black man while Didi watched. He immediately reported the video to Diddy and Khorram.
The government accused Diddy of exploiting women through coercion and financial control as a criminal enterprise. He faces five felony charges, including conspiracy and two counts of force or fraud.
The trial continues on Monday (June 16) in the U.S. District Court in Manhattan.
