It is alleged that some of Diddy’s employees were not paid while he was serving time in prison, but his team has denied the accusations.
On Tuesday (January 6), TMZ reported that sources said Puff employees would be leaving without pay. Samsung Sports & Entertainment is currently managing Diddy’s fortune and has provided his family with a fixed budget, the celebrity news site reported. Some of the attorneys handling his dozens of civil cases have not been paid. Staff members also allegedly did not receive checks, and one staff member reportedly resigned as a result.
However, Diddy’s representative Juda Engelmeier denied this claim.
“The people, the staff, the attorneys all got paid, and no one left,” she said. “Sean Combs controls his own finances. Once the work is completed and confirmed after routine reviews, everyone gets paid.”
XXL has reached out to the Diddy team for comment.
Puff was convicted last July of two counts of transporting prostitution and is currently serving a 50-month sentence in prison. His current release date is May 25, 2028.
The Bad Boy entertainment mogul found himself back in the headlines last month when the 50 Cent-executive documentary Sean Combs: The Reckoning was released on Netflix, which revealed several new scandals and accusations against the disgraced music executive.
Diddy’s sons Christian and Justin recently announced that they will be launching their own documentary series via Zeus Network. The series is expected to premiere this year.
