Acetone Boogie, a 36-year-old MC from Tucson, Arizona, released his debut album Karma Circus in spring 2013 and gave up Divine Trickster’s sophomore effort in the summer of 2017 respectively. He has since joined the Swamp Society Collective, dropped the Rayamiento & Southwest Phonk produced by Devereaux, and formed a gloomy unit with Frankie Goldie. To perform with him at next month’s legendary party, his third Studio LP hopes to provide Juggalos with a preview of what’s about to happen in his scene.
After “Ru Still Dead?”, the first song “Gittin’Nutty” is a great Southwest Sound Single that talks about making money is reckless, while Devereaux’s “Self-Easy Success” talks about overtime work simply because he wants his stuff. “Soffokate” featuring Jvztizzo found 2 lyricisms that blended Memphis Phonk sounds with horror-themed themes before “Double Dosin”, thinking that when he doesn’t have to worry or be distressed, when Maggots gets stuck, he won’t worry or be distressed.
“Mantra UV Da Maniaccs” released the second half of the album, talking about Shawty, making it crash like a broken, cash flow trapped into “Juggin in Hell,” bringing the cloudy trap atmosphere to the table representing Juggalo Lifestyse until he can’t do it anymore. “One-time stereotypical rap” talks about people loving what he can do for them, rather than loving him personally, and “Santacruzriver” draws inspiration from the scene in Memphis.
The song “Dead Dude Muzik” starts the clock about Ru still dead? (Remember Me)’s final minutes turning the Memphis influences up even higher fusing horrorcore & gangsta rap subject matter with one another prior to “Bleeding Out” featuring Jvztizzo wrapping everything up with a rock ballad & both artists we got to hear team up 18 months ago on their Children of the Moon collaborative EP produced by Shaggytheairhead getting emo thematically.
When discussing the EPS of acetone Boogie, you want to give Rayamiento and Southwest Phonk, but is Ru still dead? (Remember me) Stick to some of the craziest shit I’ve done throughout the record, any vaudeville show will see him rock some cuts at the blast stage at the party at 1 a.m. on August 14, which will be very lucky to hear his ongoing artistic growth while celebrating the biggest family to celebrate the biggest family reunion.
