Drake seemed to make Kai Cenat laughable by mispronouncing his name multiple times.
During Sunday’s (May 26) episode of Sundae Talk, host Caleb Pressley asked the anchor if anyone had mispronounced his name.
“Oh my god yeah! Drake always does that,” he said before imitating Drizzy’s version, in which the last syllable of his last name reads like the word “knot.” (The anchor said it was actually pronounced “gnat.”) “Can you believe this shit?”
Take a look at the internet personality who complained about Liushen’s pronunciation at 2:16 below:
Despite the 22-year-old’s meteoric rise in popularity and relationships with many hip-hop stars, he wasn’t the least bit excited when he learned that Killer Mike was dominating the rap category at the 2024 Grammy Awards – In fact, he didn’t even know who the Southern MC was when the news broke.
In mid-February, Mike admitted during an appearance on The Breakfast Club that he had no idea who the YouTube star was, but his win at the annual awards ceremony caught the latter’s attention.
The popular Twitch streamer went on a profane rant about Michael’s win, seemingly shocked that it topped Drake and 21 Savage’s Her Loss, Travis Scott’s Utopia and Metro Boomin’s Heroes & Villains (Nas’ ” “The King’s Sickness III” was also nominated, but was not mentioned).
“Don’t be afraid to own it,” the Run The Jewels rapper said of the criticism. “Like I made the best rap album last year. I know my friend Kai is upset, man. Shout out to Kai Senat. Hey man, I don’t know who the fuck you are. But listen, Now that I know my n-gga – let me take a broom through your room, player! I want to see you win. Happens. I’m sorry your kids didn’t get it – well, no, I didn’t, because I won.
“But a shout out to Travis. I’ve seen him grow since SXSW. I have no hatred for anyone. I want you to win, but if we compete, I definitely want to win and I’ll rap under the table.
The Atlanta native went on to say that while Senat may not care about the album now, he does believe its content will mean more to him as he gets older.
“I just came to tell Kai […] Because you are a leader, you will lead a team. he added. “As your leadership skills continue to grow, this album will become more and more relevant to you. As you enter adulthood, because you are a young person, this album will mean more and more to you.
