DeJ Loaf has postponed her Where My Fans tour just days before it was scheduled to begin, but she’s trying to soften the blow for her fans by revealing she has a new album coming soon.
DeJ announced on Instagram on Thursday (September 26) that the hike would be temporarily suspended, but confirmed it had not been cancelled.
“We have good news, we have good news!” she wrote. “The good news is that the tour is not canceled, but postponed! That means it will still happen at a later date! My team and I will be rescheduling all dates and adding new ones! The other good news is that I have Time gives you everything you truly deserve, and I deserve it too!
“Brand new vocal/rap music for the ‘Where My Fans’ tour once we hit the road! Patience is a virtue! For those of you who stayed with me until the wheels fell off, it’s all over, I can’t wait See you soon! Don’t be angry. I have a big surprise for you all on the way!
She added in the caption: “I love you all dearly. Stay tuned for my next post.
In a follow-up post, she revealed that her first album in more than four years, End Of Summer, will be available on October 11.
In late 2021, DeJ Loaf announced plans to hang up her microphone for good, writing on Twitter: “Probably never giving up music again.”
Just days later, however, the “Try Me” star changed his mind after receiving support from Detroit native Sardar Barbee. The “Whole Lotta Choppas” rapper took to the podium to give DeJ flowers while imploring her not to give up on music.
“@DeJLoaf please never retire,” Sada wrote, along with a screenshot of him listening to her song “No Passes” on Apple Music. “You’re on our side, I mean that. Love you and appreciate the soul and inspiration you give me.
DeJ Loaf responded to Sada Baby on Twitter, thanking him for his kind words while announcing she was putting her retirement plans on hold.
“Thank you Sada! I admire you so much!” she wrote. “Love you/your craft and energy! Thank you for always seeing me through! For not retiring.”
Fans were excited to hear that DeJ Loaf would be releasing more music, with one tweeting: “He didn’t lie, my mom raised me on your music, your lyrics and vibes are unmatched.”
DeJ Loaf’s last album was released in 2020 with “Sell Sole II”, featuring Big Sean, Lil Uzi Vert, Rick Ross, 6LACK, Griselda and more.
