After Claudia Jordan revealed that Tracey Edmonds once asked Karrueche Tran directly if she introduced romantically with the former NFL star that Deion Sanders found herself at the center of re-guessment before the public saw possible signs of relationships.
Jordan said on a podcast that Edmunds met Tran in person at a social gathering, believed to have been hosted by actress Niecy Nash, and heard whispers about the potential connection between Tran and Sanders.
“Tracy heard the whisper,” Jordan said. “She saw Karueche at the event and asked her directly, ‘Do you date Dion?’ Karrueche just laughed and said no.”
Jordan, who described himself as a long-time friend of Edmonds, said the moment was direct but respectful. In the podcast, she also shared a photo showing Edmunds and Tran smiling together in what seemed to be the same event. “They look like friends,” she said. “It’s like they’re really cool. That’s what makes this new development interesting.”

The conversation surfaced after the videotape recently emanated Tran, appearing in the Sanders short documentary “Your Glory” released in late July. In the video, Tran is seen sitting next to Sanders as she recovers from bladder cancer, which is obviously emotional and supportive. Neither Sanders nor Tran commented on the nature of their relationship publicly.
The documentary marks the first time Sanders has publicly resolved his cancer diagnosis. In the movie, he opens up about physical and emotional losses about health wars, which include multiple surgeries and hospitalizations. Tran’s presence in the film – energetic and attentive – makes people guess what their intimacy is.
Jordan’s comments add new wrinkles to Sanders’ already high-profile personal life. The former athlete and current head coach of Colorado Buffaloes, Colorado head coach has been under media scrutiny, not only his coach, but also because of his decade-long relationship, he recently broke up with Edmonds.
While the romance between Sanders and Tran is still not confirmed, Jordan’s claim suggests that the story has quietly unfolded for some time until it reaches the public eye.
