DDG reportedly stated that on May 15 (May 15) that she accused her of posing a risk to the baby son and should prohibit him from bringing him abroad, and escalated an already turbulent custody battle between the two entertainers.
In court documents, DDG (born Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr.) claimed that Bailey “posed a direct threat to my safety and emotional well-being and, more importantly, to the stability and security of our son.”
He also accused her of compulsory sexual behavior and physical abuse, citing what he called a “repeated, documented threat of self-harm.”
Bailey allegedly detailed an incident in the filing, where Bailey allegedly took a gun and left the house while threatening to hurt himself.
He described her as “emotional discomfort, incoherent, and possible suicide.”
Although the court approved DDG’s request for a temporary restraining order, it denied his sole motion for detention and blocked his attempt to stop Bailey from traveling internationally with his son until a future hearing could be held.
Halle Bailey accuses of abuse of ddg
Bailey previously applied for his own restraining order and sole custody, accusing DDG of physical and verbal abuse. In her documents, she claimed that he once hit the steering wheel while the child was present.

In response to DDG’s claims, Halle Bailey told the court that her mental health was stable, that he “exaggerated and embellished the events of 2022 and 2023” and that in her actions, the time she described was “emotionally destructive” by his actions.
“If Daryl is really worried about my parenting, he will act as soon as possible,” Bailey said in court documents. She called his legal move “a little more than a cold act of retribution designed to embarrass me, humiliate and cause more emotional pain.”
Bailey also noted that DDG only raised concerns about her parenting program, which scheduled a hearing on allegations of domestic abuse she had targeted him.
In a statement to XXL, DDG’s legal team backed off the report, indicating that his request had been denied. “We are aware of the inaccurate media reports that Mr. Granbury was denied a restraining order against Ms. Harley Bailey. This is absolutely wrong. The court granted Mr. Granbury the interim restraining order (TRO) based on serious charges filed in his application.”
