Daphne Joy has deleted a social media post accusing 50 Cent of rape after the rapper filed a defamation lawsuit.
Daphne Joy deletes post aimed at 50 cents
On Wednesday (July 10), Daphne Joy appeared to delete any mention of 50 Cent, whom she publicly accused of sexual and physical abuse in March, from her Instagram. It’s unclear why Daphne Joy deleted about 50 of her posts, but it happened after the G-Unit leader filed a defamation lawsuit against Joy in May.
Sources close to Joy reportedly told TMZ that her deletion of the posts had nothing to do with the lawsuit. The source also said that no settlement has been reached and the case is still pending.

50 Cent files defamation lawsuit against Daphne Joy
50 Cent filed a lawsuit against Joy on May 6. . Fif asked Joy to retract and delete the said post, but she allegedly refused and demanded millions of dollars in exchange for the post being removed. Joey also wants 50 Cent to drop custody proceedings over their shared son, Sire.
The former couple’s latest issues stem from producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones’ explosive amended lawsuit filed against Diddy in March. The lawsuit names Jones and Yung Miami as Diddy’s sex workers. 50 Cent reacted by clowning on Joey’s accusations and immediately filed for conservatorship of Sire. On the same day, Joy took to IG to accuse 50 people of abusing and sexually assaulting her during their relationship.
“I’m tired of maintaining and protecting our son’s image that you never even earned,” Joy wrote in part. “Let us put the real focus on your truly evil act of raping me and physically abusing me. You are no longer my oppressor and my God will deal with you from now on. You have permanently destroyed my view of your actions A Father’s Last Hope In order to protect our family, we are heartbroken by these last and final false accusations that you have leveled against me.
50 Cent denied the accusations in a statement released to XXL.
“In the recent court case involving Daphne Joy, the mother of my twelve-year-old child, disturbing allegations were made in a sworn complaint requiring me to take all necessary legal action to protect my son,” the statement read. Your Majesty. “The recent false and baseless accusations made by Daphne Joy are clearly in response to my decision to seek sole custody of my son. My son’s father is my top priority and keeping him in a safe environment is my top priority. The only focus right now.
50 is seeking more than $1 million in damages in the lawsuit, claiming false accusations could harm its business association.
