Former Danity Kane star D. Woods says she fears she might be attacked by Sean after taking part in new documentary ‘The Fall of Diddy’ Sean “Diddy” Combs’ Revenge delves into the music mogul’s alleged history of abuse, coercion and control.
The documentary, which will air on Investigation Discovery and stream on Max on January 27, 2025, explores the disturbing allegations against the hip-hop icon, including sexual misconduct, emotional manipulation and a toxic workplace Conditional Charges.
For Woods, reliving those years is both cathartic and terrifying.
“I would say that this is a moment where I feel like my experience, my truth is going to be truly heard and truly considered and believed,” Woods said. In the interview, she discussed her time working at Combs’ Bad Boy Records and working with Danity Kane from 2005 to 2008.
D. Woods reflected on the power imbalance she experienced under his supervision, describing a verbally abusive environment that left her feeling frightened and disillusioned.
“From the outside, he’s a tycoon. You know, he’s this guy who can make your dreams come true. But there are people who are constantly treating you like a piece of meat and only looking at you for your sexiness… In certain circumstances, You know, being alone is… scary.
The documentary sheds light on the allegations against Combs over the years.
Federal prosecutors allege his abuse dates back to 2008, with charges including forcing women to have sex and creating an environment filled with intimidation and substance abuse.
Several former Danity Kane members, including Dawn Richard and Aubrey O’Day, also made scathing assertions about their time with Combs.
In September 2024, Richard filed a lawsuit accusing Combs of sexual assault, physical violence, forced labor, and withholding $3.5 million in earnings.
The lawsuit also claims that Richard witnessed Combs physically abusing his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura and reportedly saw him and others engaging in disturbing behavior, including using illegal drugs and having sex with Intercourse with minors.
O’Day, meanwhile, painted a disturbing picture, saying Combs tried to control and humiliate her.
She claims he once kicked her out of a recording studio because her toenails weren’t properly polished and it affected her appearance in a music video.
O’Day said Diddy “groomed” members and claimed she was eventually fired by Danity Kane for refusing to meet demands other than music.
According to these accounts, Woods struggled with the emotional toll of coming forward.
“Even doing that, maybe I shouldn’t say I should stop talking and shut up, but it’s like, you know, well, not talking doesn’t change anything.”
While she acknowledges the importance of what she’s revealing, she remains determined to ensure her truth is known.
Diddy, who was arrested in September on sex trafficking charges and is currently in federal custody, has denied all charges through his lawyer.
