DaBaby reportedly took a plea deal to avoid jail time after being accused of beating a man and knocking his teeth out.
DaBaby accepts plea deal
On Friday (July 12), TMZ reported that DaBaby pleaded guilty to misdemeanor battery in the 2020 attack. In addition to his prison term, he was sentenced to one year of probation. The rapper was ordered to pay $10,000 in restitution and stay 100 yards away from Gary Pager, who filed a lawsuit against DaBaby for allegedly punching him in the mouth and knocking out his teeth. During this time, DaBaby is also prohibited from possessing firearms and deadly weapons.

DaBaby convicted of felony after assault lawsuit
According to court documents obtained by XXL back in 2021, Page claimed in the lawsuit that the attack occurred because he was trying to stop DaBaby from filming a music video at his rental property in Runyon Canyon, California. State Rapper exceeded the guest limit of 12 people, violating the terms of the lease and COVID-19 restrictions.
As Pegg tried to stop filming, the video showed him being pushed to the ground by a man believed to be DaBaby’s colleague Thankgod Awute. The latter was charged with felony robbery.
After the fight, DaBaby got out of the car and chased him back home, Pegg said. Pagal claims DaBaby advised him not to call the police and then attacked him, causing his mouth to bleed and his teeth to fall out. Eventually, someone at the scene called authorities, and DaBaby and his group fled, allegedly taking Pagal’s cell phone and “valuable kitchenware.” Pager also claims DaBaby failed to pay full rent.
