DaBaby talks about his career on “Million Dollaz Worth of Game,” discussing his upbringing while showing off his 40 acres.
Gillie and Wallo talked business, resilience and what he’s building for the future on DaBaby’s “Million Dollaz Worth of Game.”
The North Carolina rapper sat down with Gillie Da King and Wallo267 for one of the most memorable episodes of the podcast to date.
But this is not a typical interview setting. The crew decided to get creative and turned “Cooking with Kirk” into “Construction with Kirk” on DaBaby’s 40-acre property.
The real conversation begins when DaBaby talks about his journey. He spoke of the highs and lows of his career, which stalled after his comments about gay men with AIDS went viral.
“Being on this side of it, like being on the other side of it, after taking a beating and getting to the other side of it and doing it my way, that’s the feeling you get working and grinding. It’s a feeling you can’t find any other way. You have to get all the way to the top, fall all the way to the bottom, and get back up from there to get that feeling,” DaBaby said.
DaBaby frantically manipulates a bobcat and demolishes a house while Wallo tries to keep up and Gillie keeps the energy alive with his comedy. It’s hands-on, it’s real, and it shows a different side of the rapper than fans usually see.
After dismantling the structure, the crew jumped on DaBaby’s 4×4 to explore the land.
They rode through the trails, checked out his plans for the property, and saw firsthand what the rapper was building from the ground up.
I’m just not the n#### type when it comes to stopping, quitting and s####ing, like, I’m gonna crit through it. So it’s not new to me at all, going through it and having to overcome it. “
