Since J. Cole apologized to fans and quit the Kendrick beef at Dreamville Fest 2024 for releasing “7 Minute Drill,” many rappers have been vocal about their lack of respect for the move and took shots at Cole.
Tonight, CyHi The Prynce adds his name to that list.

A few weeks ago, he tweeted that he “grew up in an era where your (lyricists) came from the streets,” criticizing rappers who were only good with words and had no real-life experience. Some saw this as an attack on Cole, and yesterday, CyHi responded that he was not, but it did remind him of some issues he wanted to address. He seemed angry about some of Cole’s lines in “False Prophet” nearly a decade ago and was just reminiscing about it. So tonight, he dropped a song designed to attack Cole.
He essentially accused Cole of cowering in front of Kendrick and told him to watch his mouth. Take a look below.
