Conor McGregor and his fiancée Dee Devlin have released a statement following the verdict in the civil case involving the mixed martial arts fighter over an alleged hotel attack.
McGregor and Devlin took to social media on Tuesday (November 26) to express two completely different reactions to the Irish brawler’s loss in a civil sexual assault case in which he was ordered to complain to accuser Nikita Pay €250,000 to hand over violent brawl in 2018. McGregor made headlines immediately following the verdict earlier this month as he lashed out at Jake Paul, who had antagonized him over the ruling in the case, as well as UFC mogul Dana White.
In his official speech shared on Twitter, McGregor chose a low-key approach, taking the time to make amends for his past “mistakes” while still maintaining his innocence.
“People want to hear from me and I need time,” McGregor wrote. “I know I made a mistake. Six years ago, I shouldn’t have responded to her unsolicited contact. I should have shut down the party. I shouldn’t have taken a step out of the hands of the woman I love most in the world. It’s all on me .
He continued, “As much as I regret, everything that happened that night was consensual, and all of the witnesses present were sworn to that.”
As he continued, McGregor looked ahead to his future, assuring his followers that there will be more legal action in addition to his return to cage fighting.
“I have instructed my legal team to appeal this decision,” he wrote. “I can’t look back, I will keep moving forward. I am extremely grateful to my family, friends and supporters around the world who have been by my side.
That’s it. no longer. Back in the gym – the fighting game awaits!
People want to hear from me and I need time. I know I made a mistake. Six years ago, I should never have responded to her unsolicited contact. I should close the party. I shouldn’t have taken a step out of the hands of the woman I love most in the world. This is all my business.
As far as I’m concerned…

Our four beautiful children, whose smiling faces and happy hearts are a testament to who He and we are! No one has the right to comment on our relationship – we trust each other and trust each other In love. Nothing or no one will change that. We are strong as a family!
