Things got heated between Remy Ma and professional boxer Clarissa Shields this week, with the former accusing the latter of having an affair with her husband Paps. She shared screenshots of various alleged messages between them, in which Shields appeared to explain that she felt “stupid” about asking her dad for gifts and flowers.
This led to some debate online, and eventually Shields challenged Remy to a boxing match. “Claressa Shields vs. @RealRemyMa February 2nd! Come on, get your a** crack!!” she tweeted. Now, however, she has clarified things on social media. In a new clip, she explains why she decided to reply to Remy in the first place. According to her, it all comes down to boredom, no matter what the haters may say.
Clarissa Shields claims she replied to Remy Mah because she was bored
“You want to know what really gets on my nerves, what grinds my gears, and I mean hard…is it when y’all think I’m terrible. Listen to me, I’m not bad about so much shit,” she explained. “I’m tired of responding and need to do something,” she continued, insisting her response to Remy didn’t mean she cared. Of course, Instagram users in the comments section of The Neighborhood Talk had plenty to say about Shields’ latest claims, but most weren’t entirely convinced by them. One commenter said: “Sounds a bit like giving a shit to me 🤷🏽♀️.” Another wrote: “Girl, don’t bother that lady husband.”
However, she’s not the only one to receive backlash for allegedly interfering in Remy and her dad’s marriage. In response to Remy’s accusations, Paps accused her of having an affair with block captain Izzy. In a recent interview, Eazy accused Papoose of knowing about their alleged relationship for years and finding out by placing a recording device in Remy’s car.
