Andy Byron showed his intimate moments with the company’s chief figure at the Coldplay concert in Massachusetts.
The clip was captured by concert players and later aired on a large venue screen, surrounding each other to Byron and Kristen Cabot.
As Cabot covers her face and Byron falls to the floor as the crowd reacts, it quickly turns into embarrassment. Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin told the scene live, “They have an affair, or they are shy.”
The video was posted by Tiktok user Grace Springer under the handle of @instaagrace, exploded online, gaining more than 100 million views and turning the night of live music into a corporate PR nightmare.
Astronomer, a New York-based technology company specializing in DataOps, confirmed Byron’s departure in a statement.
“Andy Byron proposed his resignation and the board accepted it.”
“Before this week, we were called the pioneer of DataOps Space. While awareness of our company may have changed overnight, our products and customers’ work did not.”
Co-founder Pete Dejoy will step in to interim CEO, and the company begins looking for a permanent replacement.
The incident took place at a concert in Coldplay in Massachusetts and was filmed by venue staff who put the video recorder onto a large screen.
