Cassie Ventura’s husband of four years, Alex Fine, has a stern warning for all “abusers.”
“Men who assault women are not men,” he wrote in an open letter shared on Instagram on May 17. “Men who commit this act and protect these people are not men.”
The “1883” actor said that “violence against women should not be inevitable” and that “men who hurt women hate women.”
“To all the survivors, your stories are real and people believe you,” he wrote. “To all the survivors, you are not alone and there are many men and women who care only about your well-being and safety. We hope you succeed and thrive.”
The 31-year-old added that he wants to raise his and Ventura’s daughters Frankie, 4, and Sunny, 3, in a world where children like them are “safe and loved” ).
“To the abuser, you are finished, you are no longer safe, you are no longer protected,” Fine wrote. “The men around you are also weak.”

His post came shortly after a 2016 surveillance video surfaced of a man believed to be Sean “Diddy” Combs – who has been involved in a number of incidents in recent months. A specific section of the lawsuit details an alleged incident that matches surveillance video obtained by CNN.
Sean “Diddy” Combs is under investigation following a series of lawsuits filed against him, a source familiar with the investigation told NBC News on March 25.
Court documents obtained by NBC News state, “In or about March 2016, during a house party at the Intercontinental Hotel in Los Angeles’ Century City, Mr. Combs was intoxicated and struck Ms. Ventura in the face with his fist, striking her. Swelled. “After Ms. Ventura fell asleep, she tried to leave the hotel room, but when she left, Mr. Combs woke up and began screaming at Ms. Ventura. He followed her into the hotel hallway while shouting she yelled.
Ventura, 37, and Combs, 54, reached an undisclosed settlement one day after the lawsuit was filed, though a lawyer for the bad boy records mogul said the settlement was “in no way an admission of wrongdoing.” .
“He is pleased that they have reached a mutual settlement,” attorney Ben Brafman told E! in a Nov. 18 statement, “and wishes Ms. Ventura the best.”
