While all eyes are on the Democratic National Convention this week, fans may have forgotten that the temperatures dropped some seriously today. A New York rapper whose sound defined the Big Apple’s summer return this week ended the season with a bang as an exciting young rapper finally dropped an album his fans have been craving all year , a veteran Houston veteran returns with his first project in 2024 and beyond.

Cash Cobain returns to Play Cash Cobain

After creating the signature sound of the New York summer with hits like “Fisherr,” Cash Cobain returns with his highly anticipated new album, Play Cash Cobain. The project features an appearance by Leila! Join Bay Swag and Cash as Ice Spice continues her Y2K journey! travel. Unfortunately, the Ice Spice remix of “Fisherr” doesn’t appear to be on the album.

Trae Tha Truth Releases New Crowd Control Tape

After hyping his return and celebrating his new album Crowd Control at this year’s Trae Dau Celebration, Trae Tha Truth’s new album is finally here. The album will include the single “Fires” featuring Lil Yachty, which was released in July. The new record is Trae’s first of 2024 and comes after he dropped his Stuck in Motion project last December.

Luh Tyler finally gives up on Mr. Skii

2021 XXL freshman Luh Tyler finally returns with Mr. Skii after teasing the project for much of 2024. Young Ni**a” in May. While a month or so has passed with no word on the album, the Tallahassee, Florida, native is finally releasing the singles “Handz Up” featuring Bossman Dlow in June and July. “2 Slippery”. The 15-song project also features guest appearances from Kodak Black, Trapland Pat and more.
