Cardi B is a Diamond-certified, Grammy Award-winning recording artist. The Bronx, New York, native also became a public figure whose political views made national news.
For example, Cardi revealed that neither Democrat Joe Biden nor Republican Donald Trump won her vote in the upcoming 2024 presidential election. CNN’s State of the Union program reported on the hip-hop superstar’s rejection of both candidates.
“Famous rapper Cardi B… she endorsed Biden in 2020. Now she’s telling Rolling Stone she doesn’t ‘f’ with any of them,” Jake Tapper tells Politico on his State of the Union A panel of commentators explains.
“The Moment” author Bakari Sellers responded: “I don’t think the biggest threat to Joe Biden is Donald Trump. I think the biggest threat to Joe Biden is people staying home. Cardi B actually echoed this sentiment.
.@Bakari_Sellers: The game is “Joe Biden vs. Donald Trump vs. the couch”

Cardi’s endorsement of Joe Biden on the 2020 campaign also included the “Bodak Yellow” hitmaker interviewing the former vice president. During that conversation, the rapper and politician discussed health care, police brutality and other issues.
In January 2021, Cardi B still supports newly inaugurated President Biden. Right-wing Republicans like Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene threatened to impeach the new president just days into his term.
“How are they already trying to impeach Biden? He’s not even in the White House yet. This shows me how delusional and stupid people can be [face with rolling eyes emojis],” Cardi tweeted at the time.
While Cardi B may have changed her mind about Joe Biden since 2020, she has been an outspoken critic of Donald Trump for years. The “Invasion of Privacy” album creator has also repeatedly clashed with Trump’s MAGA supporters on social media.
