Cardi B will be on her long-awaited sophomore album Am I The Drama after critics revealed her ranking singles “WAP” and “UP”? , which is released on September 19, 2025.
The Bronx rapper hit the X Close Bounce, including two hits, both of which were released a few years ago.
She wrote: “This will be my last and only time.

“WAP,” she teamed up with Megan Thee stallion, ranked No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and broke the streaming record in the first week. The track took four weeks on the top and became a cultural flash.
“UP” was released in 2021 and also reached No. 1 and was nominated for Best Rap Performance by Grammy Awards.
Despite their success, Cardi admits that she had previously insisted on submitting “WAP” for Grammys due to external pressure.
“I let the haters tell me not to submit WAP for the Grammys, and at this point, I gave my fans what they wanted! These two songs aren’t even counting first week sales, so what are you even crying??” she said.
She didn’t stop there. Cardi talked about the allegations of using old hits to boost album numbers, adding: “When all these artists took out all the tricks and pony came and sold out?
Am I an album of 23 songs for drama? Seven years after her debut, she won Best Rap Album at the 2019 Grammy Awards.
This new project features club anthem, record of pop records, introspective tailoring and surprise guest features. Am I a drama? It will be released on September 19, 2025.
