Cardi B’s spending habits have sparked a lot of controversy. The rapper claims she spends $3 million a month, shocking everyone who isn’t a billionaire. She also claims to have received tour invitations worth $65 million. Even though Cardi B hasn’t given fans an album in years, she’s not breaking her heart over the money. However, Cardi B’s performance caught the attention of her former producer. SwiftOnDemand reached out to the rapper via Instagram and mocked her for failing to advance his career. She didn’t take kindly to the blame.
SwiftOnDemand shared an article about Cardi B’s spending and detailed his disappointment. “When I see something like this,” he wrote. “All I remember is you saying ‘Swift, don’t worry, I got you.'” He went on to claim that Cardi was upset with him after he reminded her not to “forget” him. Well, he thought he was forgotten. Cardi B, on the other hand, doesn’t think it’s her problem. She criticized SwiftOnDemand for believing everything he read online. She also said that she has three children to take care of and family is her first priority.
Cardi B claims she doesn’t owe producers ‘anything’
This is its shortcoming. Cardi issued a lengthy written response. She explains that she has little control over the music she makes with SwiftOnDemand. “I told you a million times, I have no control over the mixtapes you make,” the rapper said. “Because it belongs to our original manager’s label, not Atlantic.” Cardi B also accused SwiftOnDemand of counting money instead of focusing on new music and making her own music. “A grown man was counting my pockets,” she added. “I have three kids, I take care of my family…I don’t owe you anything!”
SwiftOnDemand replies with bulleted lists. He responded to each of Cardi B’s accusations, noting that he has three children of his own. The producer also claimed that he wasn’t worried about the mixtape royalties, he wanted the credibility that comes with working with a big name like Cardi. He also expressed doubts about Cardi’s ability to write and produce songs alone. SwiftOnDemand questions how she can do it all on her own since she doesn’t feel the need to help him in return.
