Cardi B blasts production team over Pyro issues at BET Experience concert
On Saturday (June 29), Los Angeles radio station Real 92.3 posted multiple videos of Cardi B’s concert at the 2024 BET Experience event on its Instagram page. However, one clip caught the attention of fans everywhere.
In the viral clip (seen below), Cardi blasted the production crew for allegedly shoddy work on her performance. Apparently, the Bronx rapper is upset about issues related to Pyro, fans on stage, and music.
“No offense, yo, just production,” Cardi began with her rant. “Y’all messed with my Pyro, the fans are turned off. Y’all messed with my music. What the hell am I paying you guys to do?”
“What on earth am I paying you for?” she repeated.
“Turn on my fucking fan and let’s go,” she says before the video ends.

Cardi B responds to criticism of her behavior towards production team
Some fans weren’t happy with the way Cardi treated her production staff.
The Grammy-winning rapper was criticized for disrespecting the production team during the show.
The fan wrote in a post on This principle does not apply only to less glamorous positions. Celebrities are included. “
Cardi caught wind of the man’s post and fired back with an angry diatribe, which can be seen below.
“Shut up girl… when you do a show you pay first and then don’t pay,” she wrote. “I paid $350,000 upfront and they could at least have my fireworks ready and turn on the fans because guess what??? At the end of the day, the money is non-refundable… don’t half-ass my show because dang dang You’ll feel comfortable when I definitely don’t do anything half-assed when it comes to paying… Don’t tell me how to talk to anyone when you talk about my kids and other deceased parents the same way.
In another post, Cardi explained that she spent $100,000 to outfit her show with pyrotechnics, but her show didn’t have any because the production failed to conduct safety checks with fire crews. She also claimed they played the wrong set of music for her concert. Additionally, her performance garnered four stage fans, but they were never turned on. Ultimately, Cardi invested a lot of money into her show and got nothing done.
“Honey don’t play with my money in this economy,” Cardi wrote in her post about the high cost of putting on a show.
