Cardi B announced plans for a third album in 2026 during X Spaces, rejecting a request for a deluxe version of “Am I the Drama?”

Cardi B has made it clear she’s not looking back, announcing plans for a third album in 2026, outright rejecting fan requests for a deluxe version of her latest project.

The Grammy-winning rapper spoke directly to her loyal fans on X Spaces about her future musical plans.

“I hope and pray that in the next year, I don’t have to rap about certain things about this album and I’ll be better with men. I know what I want my album to sound like, what my next album will sound like. I want to do a project as soon as possible,” Cardi B said.

The Bronx native isn’t obsessed with her second feature, Am I a Drama? ” (which was released in September and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200), but is already planning her next move.

“I want a new era, new everything, new style. I don’t want to tell you the vibe I want for the songs, but I already kind of like talking to my team about that kind of stuff because I don’t have much to do but talk, talk, talk, have meetings because that’s not how my legs work,” the pregnant rap star joked.

The news comes on the heels of her debut novels Invasion of Privacy and Am I a Drama? were announced seven years apart, a period marked by numerous promises and delays. This time around, Cardi B seems determined to keep the momentum going, especially as she prepares for her first major tour in years.

The Little Miss Theater Tour kicks off on February 11 in Palm Desert, California, and ends on April 17 in Atlanta.

The rapper’s commitment to a faster turnaround suggests she’s learned from the long wait between albums, recognizing the importance of striking while the iron is hot in today’s fast-paced music landscape.
