Cardi B says she plans to sue the Los Angeles Police Department after an incident at her home earlier this month in which she was allegedly forced to take off all her clothes.

She recalled the ordeal during an Instagram Live broadcast on Monday (March 25), claiming law enforcement officers accused her of selling drugs without knowing who she was.

“They own all the helicopters in Los Angeles,” she said. “Yo, I was freaking out. They had me out there for like three hours. They had me out butt naked. It was fucking crazy. It was a dead movie or something, but you already knew that .

“I’m going to sue the LAPD. I told them, ‘Yo, I’m Cardi B. Do I look like I’m trying to sell something? Like why would I do that? I would never do anything like that.”

She continued: “They didn’t believe me. It was some white police officers and they didn’t know who I was. They were really hard on me and everything. They said someone gave them a tip. I really felt like this was my opponent and One of those shit, like they’re really trying to ruin my life type of shit. Like y’all have no idea. I’ve been through a lot lately.”

She then completely changed her tone, laughing and saying, “Not seriously,” before thanking fans for supporting her new single.

Cardi B’s latest single “Enough (Miami)” was released earlier this month. During an Instagram Live following the song’s release, the Bronx rapper said the song was inspired by people who followed her and originally had a different title.

“The song was originally titled ‘Her Name Is Cardi K,'” she begins. “And the reason I called the song ‘Cardi K’… I said it in the interview… I was really angry. I felt… the bitches were ganging up on me. I felt undervalued. Even Like my fan base. I have a big fan base but it’s so underrated…

“So it’s ‘Cardi K’, and I don’t know if you know how people are, ‘EBK’, like ‘Everybody Killa.’ I just feel like everybody’s listening to some ‘Cardi K’ shit, like ‘You guys Are you all listening to some Cardi Killa shit? “Then you fucking hoe! Fuck you bitches!”

She concluded, “I’ve been through some crazy stuff in the studio, but honestly, I’m not in that space right now. I don’t give a shit about anyone right now. But that’s her original name. Her original name is ‘Cardi K.’ , but her stage name is “Enough (Miami)”.

The clip features menacing synths and trap-style drums over a minimalist beat, giving Cardi plenty of room to showcase her ferocious bars.

“One bitch, two bitches, old bitch, new bitch/None of you bitches know how to do/I’m in Miami, I’m on a cruise ship stop/You’re in Miami, four hoes come to a room to shit,” she says here Rap on the blockbuster single.
