Cardi B has announced that she is calling on President Joe Biden to drop out of the 2024 election and is endorsing Kamala Harris as the Democratic nominee just weeks before he drops out.
On Sunday, Cardi B shared a video she made last month on social media after Biden announced he would not seek re-election.
“Stop playing with me!!!!” Cardi B wrote, posting the clip on Instagram. “Check the date.. it said June 30th! Someone told you guys Kamala should be the nominee in 2024. Y’all trying to play Bronx education, baby that’s what I do! Is my passion …Don’t let my accent fool you.

When a fan asked Joe Biden if he saw Cardi B’s comments, she joked, “Oh my gosh, maybe he did.”

While Cardi B has previously refused to endorse Joe Biden or Donald Trump, insisting “I don’t like either of you,” the president’s withdrawal from the race scares her.
“It hit me so fast,” she replied when asked if her views on voting had changed. “It just happened so suddenly that I’m really kind of scared right now. It’s like I have nothing to say.”
I need a second honey, it’s too soon for me…it happened out of the blue and I’m actually kind of scared now.

In her June video, Cardi B appeared to endorse Kamala Harris for president. “I think they should pass the torch to Kamala,” she explains in the video. “This is the perfect moment for her… I feel like now is the perfect time for her to shine.”
Although Cardi B isn’t endorsing any candidates, her stance on the Republican Party is clear.
When one social media user suggested she do so, she responded: “I will never become a Republican lol.”
