Cardi B is firing back at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security over the Epstein dossier after making fiery remarks about ICE at the launch of her Little Miss Theater Tour.
Cardi B sparked a feud with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (X) after seemingly jokingly threatening to jump over U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers. Cardi made the joke at the start of her Little Miss theatrical tour on Wednesday (February 11) in Palm Desert, California. The Department of Homeland Security got wind of this and decided to respond to her on Thursday (February 12).
During the show, the New York rapper paused the show to talk to the Latino audience. She assured them of their safety and promised that ICE would not detain them without a fight.
“If ICE comes here, we’re going to jump,” she told the crowd. “Shh, I got some bearmas behind me. They ain’t gonna take away my fans, shh.”
DHS responded to X’s TMZ post about Cardi’s comments, which can be seen below. “As long as she does not use drugs and rob our agents, we will consider this an improvement over her past behavior,” the agency wrote.
Their vitriolic response was a reference to comments Cardi made on Instagram Live in 2019 about drugging and robbing men while incapacitated. She defended her actions, claiming the men she robbed were “conscious, willing and aware” of what was happening to them.
Still, Cardi always has the final say. The Grammy-winning rapper saw what they posted and fired back at DHS over the Epstein files.
“If we’re talking about drugs, let’s talk about Epstein and his friends drugging underage girls to rape them. Why don’t you want to talk about Epstein’s dossier?” Cardi wrote on X.
The Department of Homeland Security has not yet responded to Cardi B’s questions.
