Cardi B has once again shot down rumors that she is facing any financial difficulties and could even lose her home.
In a since-deleted post on X (formerly Twitter) on Sunday (August 4), the Bronx rapper referenced a tweet in which a user on the platform shared A screenshot of an article in British tabloid The Sun suggesting she may be millions behind. In addition to the photos, the person also considered Cardi’s financial status.
“First, The Sun published rumors that you were all making up and sending blind messages about… That’s why it had no documentation, just word of mouth,” she wrote. “Everyone got a loan to buy a house, and I have never defaulted on anyone. I bought a house in 2021 and invested nearly 12 million, and now look how much money I have left.
“I’m very responsible with money, I prioritize my bills over luxuries, I just spent $400,000 on jewelry this month because I also know how to budget… don’t kid me.”
The “Press” rapper also posted a series of screenshots of text messages from what appears to be her publicist or manager communicating with Cardi and others about The Sun’s erroneous headline. As of this writing, the article that prompted Cardi’s response appears to have been deleted.
The soon-to-be mother of three made a similar post on Monday (August 29) in response to rumors that she and Offset were trying to sell their Atlanta home amid a “secret” financial crisis, Page Six reported.

This is the second time in as many days that Cardi B has taken to social media to respond to false reports about her personal life.
The “Bodak Yellow” rapper took to the comments section of Jasmine Brand’s Instagram post on Saturday (August 3) to respond to a summary of a recent People magazine article.
The article, published on Friday (August 2), cited an “exclusive source” and gave insight into why Cardi filed for divorce from her husband earlier this week.
A source told People: “As a mother, she expected her partner to give it all and put family first. That just didn’t happen. Overall, he just wasn’t as supportive of her as her husband. Her All you need in life is good vibes and positive energy.
Cardi disputed this, writing in the comments: “Well this is getting weird because I can tell he helps me a lot with my business and my kids.”
She continued, disputing the suggestion that People’s sources had any inside information.
“No matter what I’ve been through in my career, I’ve never had friends or family go to the media, so I have no idea who the source of this damn People magazine is,” she continued.
“Even with my padding, I would not be asking for child support, my request would be for him to only pay the bills he already pays for the kids and the new kids.”
