Cardi B sent a public apology to Latto on Monday (September 30), after leaked the phone with Spice’s manager and exposed the Bronx rapper, calling Latto a “p ####” and threatening violence.
The audio surfaced online a few hours ago, capturing Cardi in a tense conversation with Ice Spice’s manager James Rosemond Jr.
On the phone, Cardi threw a shadow at Lato, accusing her of being afraid to face the ice spice.
“Why are you stupid?” Cardi said in the recording. “I’m not Rato! I beat her f ### up! I knocked her down ###!”

The strong opposition online was immediate, forcing Cardi to clarify her comments and publicly apologize to Lato on social media.
“I’m roaring and hot right now, but I’m heavy,” Cardi wrote. “It’s so nice that I respect everything about her, including her team… No! I’m not too proud to apologize to someone I really respect, so this is my public apology, and now Ima has bought her a schoolbag in private.”
The apology comes a few days after the two dropped “Errize (Remix)” on September 24, part of the deluxe version of Cardi’s album?
Latto Address Cardi B Relationship
This is the second collaboration after their successful track, “Put it again on DA Floor.”
Latto had to record and submit her verses within 24 hours to meet the album’s deadline, but did not publicly respond to Cardi’s apology.
But earlier this week, she told TMZ that she wasn’t worried about encountering any lyrical wanderings from Cardi.
“I and Cardi are locked in,” she said, adding that other girls should be “feared”.
Cardi also accused Ice Spice of using the moment to promote her upcoming single. She noted that Ice Spice released a laughing emoji shortly after the phone leaked, and then mocked her track for being “very privileged.”
The show adds to the growing list of public hatred in hip-hop, especially among women in the genre.
Cardi also currently reignited her long-term beef with Nicki Minaj, which exploded again this week
