Stefon Diggs may be preparing baby duties with Cardi B, but he is also stuck in a serious baby mom drama in Los Angeles with another woman’s father who claims to be the baby’s daughter.
The New England Patriots are juggling two baby headlines at once. Cardi gave up on her pregnancy news on Wednesday (September 17), and now court documents show Diggs are having parent-child fusion with model Aileen Lopera (aka Gisselle).
Lopera filed documents in Los Angeles County in December, saying Diggs’ father was the daughter born in April. The child is several months old and she is looking for him to step up.
Diggs took a photo in July, saying he was “not sure” that the baby was his and asked the court to do a DNA test. A judge signed it on July 17, ordering them both to be tested.
But so far, there is no news about whether these results are in or what they say.
“My clients look forward to the day Mr. Diggs acknowledged and offered his baby daughter in Los Angeles,” Lopera’s attorney Tamar Arminak told the U.S. Sun.
Diggs’ attorney Tullo Mumtaz was asked on Thursday without saying a word.
All of this pops up when Cardi B is pregnant, confirming that she is expecting her first child with Diggs. He even posted that he hoped for a boy.
Diggs, 31, already has an 8-year-old daughter from a former relationship named Nova.
The Maryland-born athlete has been in the NFL for a decade, starting with the Minnesota Vikings and then building a yard and a Pro Bowl with Buffalo Bills.
After a quick stop with the Texans in 2024, Diggs locked in a three-year, $69 million deal with The Batriots in 2025.
As for the parent-child relationship case, it is still open in Los Angeles, and no one says whether DNA testing has been performed.
Cardi and Diggs were released earlier this year. She used to marry Offset and had three children.
