Cardi B accepts apology after Joe Budden criticizes her career
Cardi B took to X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday (July 20) and accepted an apology from Joe Budden for criticizing her music career. The Bronx rapper previously slammed the popular podcaster for his harsh comments about her music career and Drake’s alleged $400 million deal.
“I love you so much Joe, but your tone towards me has changed so much over the past three years, both in music and in your personal life,” Cardi wrote in her post. Check it out below. “Like, when I was going through real shit in my marriage in December, you were on your platform trying to speak to other people and what was going on with them.”
“I know the criticism comes from this space, but sometimes you guys decide to go for a run and it’s so toxic,” she added. “See you soon, it’s all love.”

Cardi B slams Joe Budden for being a hater
Cardi B hopped on the X Spaces show on Thursday (July 18) to slam Joe Budden for his scathing comments about her oft-delayed second album Cardi B has apologized for the criticism and calling her a “single artist.” The Grammy winner also didn’t like Joe talking about her marriage on his podcast.
“Shut up, you don’t even know me,” Cady said. “Everything you do, whether it’s my personal life or my musical life, you’re always talking about it, but then you pretend to crave my album.”
She then recalled a time when she was working at Starlet’s and she gave Joe a lap dance while she was stripping.
“Dude, I gave you two lap dances in ‘F**kin’ Starlets’ and you were so high on Coke, n***a. I could smell the Coke on your breath smell.
Joe got wind of Cady cursing him on X Spaces and eventually apologized to her on his X account. The rapper-turned-podcaster also pledged to never mention her name or talk about her career on the podcast going forward.
“I promise you, and I can promise you, I will not cover a single thing this girl does for the rest of her career…peace and love,” Joe wrote in the post. He added, “I also never got any help from this lady and I never had a coke.”
