Boosie Badazz is asking for a pardon from the next president, no matter who wins the November election — Vice President Kamala Harris or former President Donald Trump.
The Louisiana rapper took to X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday (August 31) to explain his dire situation.
He wrote: “My case was dismissed due to a ruling issued by the Ninth Circuit. 2 weeks later, the ruling was reversed. SMH, while I celebrated the dismissal of the law, I encountered some people who hated me to their core. Powerful man. I was sentenced to 10 years for a third time marijuana user, haha, no rehab, no probation and straight to jail.
Check out his tweet below.

Back in July, Bussey accused a prosecutor of being a racist after he was re-indicted in a San Diego gun case in which he hoped to be pardoned.
The case against Busey was dismissed, but less than two weeks later he faced the same charges again for possessing a firearm and ammunition in interstate commerce by a felon.
The Baton Rouge native is also charged with knowingly possessing a firearm while dealing in the abuse of a controlled substance.
Prosecutors are strengthening the charges against Busey and seeking to seize “all firearms and ammunition involved in the crime,” according to the indictment.
If convicted, the 41-year-old rapper could also face up to 10 years in prison.
Although Busey is willing to work with “whoever wins,” he has clashed with Donald Trump in the past.
Back in 2022, the “Wipe Me Down” rapper questioned Donald Trump’s stance on drug charges.
In a speech announcing his 2024 presidential campaign, Donald Trump vowed to “wage a war on the drug cartels to stop fentanyl and the deadly drug that kills 200,000 Americans every year.”
Trump went on to add: “We will demand that all drug traffickers, and those who are caught drug traffickers, be sentenced to death for their heinous acts.”
Bushey was less than kind to Trump’s pre-election promises. “Death penalty for drug dealers! WTF!” he wrote on Twitter. “@potus45 would you sentence a white police officer to death for killing an innocent black man?”
