Boosie Badazz isn’t backing down from her public criticism of Kanye West. The Baton Rouge-born rapper shared his thoughts on Ye on Instagram Live, where he was praised despite his divisive comments about African-Americans.
“You know how many rappers I raised there, they wouldn’t give me flowers. Everybody was quiet,” Badaz said. “They didn’t want to be on my side and be seen as supporting Boosie.”
The “Wipe Me Down” hitmaker added, “But they’re sending flowers to Kanye, people like that…are the ones talking about black people. The world is fucked.”

Kanye West has a long history of making offensive comments. The Chicago native infamously stated that enslaved Africans chose to live under the American system of chattel slavery.
Additionally, West has advanced an unsubstantiated conspiracy theory that George Floyd died of a drug overdose rather than being murdered by former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin. West also downplayed Rosa Parks’ contribution to the civil rights movement. His relationship with white nationalist Nick Fuentes has also drawn the attention of critics.
Previously, Boosie Badazz was outraged by Kanye West’s inflammatory comments about George Floyd and Rosa Parks . He also condemned West for joining right-wing commentator Candace Owens in promoting White Lives Matter merchandise.
“@kanyewest your hatred of black people is sad. [AND] They still support your raccoon A##. First slavery was a choice, white lives matter, now George Floyd, etc.,” Busey tweeted in 2022.
Bushy Badaz continued: “[AND] Sadly black people with platforms don’t tell us ###attacking our race like you do #WELLIAM U SICK FRFR. “
While Boosie Badazz is one of Kanye West’s most outspoken critics, the 41-year-old Southerner has faced accusations of bias against the LGBTQ community. Boosie drew backlash for her views on Dwyane Wade’s transgender daughter and openly gay recording artist Lil Nas X.
@kanyewest your hatred of black people is pathetic. They still support your raccoon. First slavery was a choice, white lives matter, now George Floyd etc. It’s sad that black people don’t have a platform to tell us ###like you attack our race #WELLIAM U SICK FRFR
