“Shrink Wrap” brings together an unlikely Detroit duo: Bold James and Babyface Ray, paved by Harry Flood. The song flows effortlessly through Fraud’s signature smooth production, showcasing the remarkable chemistry between the three artists. Even though James and Ray are from different parts of the city, they’re both happy to trade games. Their unity is mesmerizing, and the two blend each other’s styles throughout the song, which is a joy to listen to.
Fans will enjoy the similar stories of Bold James and Babyface Ray, but with completely opposite messages. The track’s beautiful production provides rap stars with a blank canvas to further enhance their creativity. Both artists demonstrate some wordplay techniques we’ve never heard of before. After a creative year for Bold James, it’s amazing how limitless his lyrical abilities have become. Ray’s latest collaboration follows the release of his impressive album The Kid That Did in September.
Bricktionary will be available on November 22nd and will include lead single “Cecil Fielder”. Their previous collaborations have been critically acclaimed, and Boldy James continues to push boundaries while staying true to the storytelling style he admires. For James and many others, Harry Flood’s unique production created the diversity that made him one of the most popular producers in hip-hop. This is James’ fourth album of 2024, following the critically acclaimed “Across the the” Tracking and adequate leadership.
