A judge lifted a ban on a blue face from the Las Vegas Strip after he reportedly shot and killed a man in Sin City in 2022.
Blueface is currently serving time in a California state prison for a probation violation. On Wednesday (October 8), 8 News Now in Las Vegas reported that Clark County District Court Judge Kathleen Delaney has lifted restrictions that would have barred the rapper from appearing on the Las Vegas Strip or in downtown Las Vegas. There’s a catch: He can only enter both locations at the same time for work-related reasons.
The ban stems from a shooting incident in October 2022 involving the rapper. Blueface was originally charged with attempted murder for shooting a man outside the Euphoric Gentlemen’s Club near the Las Vegas Strip. He later reached a plea deal that reduced charges of shooting and discharging a weapon into or into an occupied building. In exchange, Judge Delaney sentenced Blue to up to three years of probation, with a suspended sentence of two to five years in prison.
Last January, Blue was ordered to pay $13 million in compensation to the now-defunct club’s owners.
Blueface is currently serving a four-year sentence for a probation violation in a 2021 assault case. He is eligible for parole in December.
